It is celebrated in the Shukla paksha, 6th of Kartika (a Hindu month). It is an auspicious occasion and is celebrated every year. In this puja, people keep fast for 3 days. - Chhatt puja is a famous festival celebrate by Hindus. It is four days long celebrating festival. goddess chhatti maiya is worshipped during this festival.
- In this festival falls two times in a year comes. A more delicious sweet dish Thikari dry sweet. thekua has the most value of this festival.
- During this festival, people observe fast for three days. in this festival setting and rising sun is work shipped. women perform all rituals standing in the water like a praying offering etc. it be a mainly celebrated in Bihar Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand
