Fire accidents wreak considerable havoc in India. As many as 25,000 people die in fire accidents in the nation. Apart from loss of precious lives, a whooping financial loss is also caused by the fire accidents. According to an estimate ₨ 1000 crores are burnt to ashes in the industrial and non-industrial buildings.
Many of these ghastly accidents can be prevented if proper fire safety measures are taken. Though the government has made quite strict fire-safety laws, yet people continue to disregard them.
Not only should we be cautious and proactive in dealing with fire-related accidents, we should also have the required fire safety equipment installed at buildings and sites.
