It is absolutely true. If a man has to be successful in life, he must not only have few friends, but well-chosen also. A loyal, wise, and true friend is the best gift of life. The influences of such a friend or friends are always positive, motivating, and inspirational.  

If we have friends who are undisciplined, dissipate, and addicted to bad habits, we will certainly be adversely be affected by them. We will waste our time in idle gossip, and wasteful activities. On the other hand if we have wise and ethical friend, we will tend to become like them.  

So, we should be very careful in choosing our friends.

a friend must be few and chosen because there is many fake people in this world and that we have to be careful in choosing our friends especially if we need a real ones.You can have many friends who you thought is your friends and thought they would never leave you in difficult times but when that time comes out so called friends disappear when we needed them the most and only the real ones stay.
