• Increasing the temperature at which nuclear power plants operate would increase their efficiency. This would make them cheaper and as a result they would be more economically viable. More nuclear power stations would be built and there would be a reduction in the use of fossil fuels to supply the world’s energy.
• Improving the efficiency of coal-fired power stations would reduce the amount of coal required. This would reduce the amount of greenhouse gas emissions.
• Hydroelectric power stations use liquid pressure to generate electricity without the need of steams.
• Alternative sources of energy like solar power plants or Geothermal power plants could also be encouraged to obtain steam power.
