Yes, and I have. I once stole a bottle of soda from a box behind a restaurant tent, to calm down a little girl who had had a baby tooth knocked out by a fall. Then we played piano (I on my teeth, and she on hers) enabeling me to see any wincing she might do when knocking on a fractured area. There was none to see, so I sent her home telling the parents she was OK, but if she had more trouble with that missing tooth they should see a dentist.
Not really a lifesaving thing. but stealing IS a crime.
Not a big crime, and the day after when I asked the Restaurant owner he said he didn’t mind. so I never went to prison for it. I don’t think I would have anyway as the judge would call it ‘force majure’.
