Write an essay on"Importance Of Discipline In Life"
Answers
Discipline is defined as the practice of training people to obey rules or a code of behaviour, using punishment to correct disobedience. If any institution be it family, school, college, or workplace wants to function properly; discipline is to be maintained within it. For example, discipline in a family means that the members of the family follow a certain pattern in what they do like getting up going to bed on time, having their meals on time, etc which replicates a specific routine in life.
Discipline in a school and college means that the students should reach there on time, greet the teachers whenever they meet them, maintain silence wherever and whenever required like in a library, or attend all the functions held in the school and college etc. Discipline in the office or at any workplace means that all the working staff be it the employers or the employees should reach the workplace on time and also maintain the pre- defined code of conduct.
Thus, it is understood that for the successful functioning of any of the institutions on earth, maintenance of discipline is mandatory. But the bitter truth remains; discipline is not maintained by each and every individual at the same level. The presence of discipline in an individual’s life leads to phenomenal success and the contrary is true in the case of the absence of discipline
Explanation:
Discipline is a concept everyone is aware of, but few truly understand. The most successful people in life exert discipline on a daily basis. It is vital to every living being and without it, the world around us would be chaos.
To be a great and inspiring leader, you must constantly display restraint. Not giving into something you truly want is a sign of strength. Making the right decisions in life can make or break you, and this type of person tends to make the right decisions. Regardless of where you exert this self-restraint, it will help to promote achievement in your life.
"Talent without discipline is like an octopus on roller skates. There's plenty of movement, but you never know if it's going to be forward, backwards, or sideways."
Discipline brings stability and structure into a person’s life. It teaches a person to be responsible and respectful. The observance of well-defined rules is the basis of society. If there were no discipline, people would do whatever they wanted and make mistakes without putting the consideration of others first and foremost. It promotes good human behavior to better society and make it a more enjoyable place for everyone to live.
