Description
The memory of the first day of my last annual examination is still fresh in my mind. I had not prepared well for the examination. So, I was very nervous on the first day of examination. I left my home with a heavy heart. I thought that I would not be able to answer any question in the examination hall. So, I was filled with despair and repentance. I felt that I had neglected my studies during the year. I moved with heavy steps towards the examination hall. At last I reached the school. The familiar school building looked strange and fearful. I moved unwillingly towards the examination hall. I entered the hall with a heavy heart. I found my seat and sat down. Some of my friends were talking loudly but I did not feel inclined to talk. There was still some time and I did not wish to waste it. I took out my note-book and glanced over it. When the bell rang I felt nervous. I put my note-book away and took my seat. When I got the answer-book, my heart began to palpitate. I tried to pull myself together. Then the bell rang and an invigilator gave me a question paper. I was shaking with fear. When I glanced over the questions, I found that they were easy. So I shook off my fear and marked the questions to be answered, I started answering the questions. When I finished answering the first question I found that it had taken a lot of time. So, I started writing as fast as I could. I finished answering all the questions before the warning bell rang. Then I revised them. I felt that I had not answered the last two questions well. In spite of this I felt confident of securing good marks in that paper. The last bell rang and I handed over my answer-book to the invigilator. I came out of the examination hall with a smiling face.
Conclusion
On the way home I chuckled over my nervousness in the examination hall. I made up my mind not to fear the examination any longer.
