I was in 7th or 8th std and wanted to have papads. I somehow managed to deep fry them. But.. I wanted to hide this from my mom, and keep all the kitchen stuff as it was. The oil turned darker with some black elements after frying and I used a plastic strainer to strain the oil. And then I found a deep hole in the strainer as I used a plastic one for hot oil. Foolishness at younger stage! :p
