It emerged as a panacea to sustain the momentum during the lockdown as all one needed was a computer, tablet or smartphone and a good internet connection.

An amalgamation of two training environments—high-tech digital learning and traditional face-to-face learning. There is something for every learner, be it those who learn better in a structured environment comprising face-to-face learning with an educator and independent students as well as those who prefer to learn online using digital tools and leveraging technology.

There is still a long way to go before the complete digitisation of the education sector, and the push given by the lockdown is steering us in the right direction. What educational institutions can do to make blended learning work better is to have boot camps for families and students. Students can self-manage their time online, try not to be seated in one place all the time and create a learning space for themselves.
