Oxygen is the must requirement for human life without oxygen human life is impossible not human plants, animals and birds even insects require oxygen to,as they also need oxygen in order to survive every species on earth take oxygen, like human have nostrils present in their noses , animals also have the same according to my knowledge in case of aquatic animals fish have gill's and insects also have some process of taking oxygen, meanwhile plants take carbon dioxide to prepare and give out oxygen but that doesn't mean that they don't take oxygen they also need oxygen to survive at last oxygen can be said as a base of the every living-things so if oxygen is there then Life is possible if no oxygen then no life.
