The preamble to the Constitution of India is a short explanatory description that places out guidelines to manage people and to impersonate the principles of the document and to symbolize the source from which the general document acquires its authorization, definition, and the people. The hopes and ambitions of the people, as well as the goals of our nation, are explained in the preamble in explicit words.

The preamble can be regarded as the explanation which highlights the whole Constitution. It was affirmed on 26 November 1949 by the Constituent Assembly and came into force on 26 January 1950, which is observed as the Republic day in India.

The preamble to the Indian constitution was revised by the 42nd Amendment Act, 1976 whereby the terms Socialist, Secular, and Integrity were attached to the preamble by the 42nd Amendment Act, 1976, to guarantee the economic justice and exclusion of inequality in wages and pattern of life.

While goals have been accomplished with the Constitution declaring India as Sovereign, Socialist, Secular, Democratic Republic', these ambitions also include equity, freedom, equality, and brotherhood, which are yet to be accomplished.
