Space tourism is as the term defines itself. Touring space. People do it to discover what awaits them in space, to discover new sights and understand space. Despite getting to understand this layer of beauty, just like most things have their pros and cons, space tourism has its own pros and cons too. For pros, the first one would most definitely be getting to explore space and its depths. Many people like to capture images of the unseen layer to share with people. The second one would be that it acts as a form of income. Many organizations support and provide requirements and features to carry out small space tours, and this acts as a form of income or profit for them. The third most sensible one would be being able to gather information and discover space. A lot of organizations are performing continuous studies and researches to understand space, and space tourism will help add to such studies and projects. Coming to the cons, it could be highly dangerous. Despite many space tourism organizations having extreme safety precautions, things could still unexpectedly go wrong and it will bring in loss not just to the organization but to the safety of other people. It will also add on to unnecessary objects and junk floating around the earth's orbit and harming the space environment. The second con could be that it can be expensive at times. It's space, after all, it's a wide area with yet-to-be-discovered lengths and depths.
