Republic Day of India is one of the most significant national events. It is celebrated with great enthusiasm by the people throughout the country. It has been declared as the gazetted holiday on 26th of January. It is celebrated to remember India’s own constitution which came into force on 26th of January in 1950. There is a culture and tradition of inviting a chief guest from other country’s Prime Minister or President to India on each Republic Day.
A grand Republic Day Parade takes place at Rajpath, India Gate before the chief guest from abroad and Indian Prime Minister.
