A mountainous state located in the foothills of the Himalayas the beauty of Sikkim is absolutely breath-taking. Snow-capped mountains, lakes, waterfalls and colourful valleys together form the beauty Sikkim.
Sikkimese particles of weaving in the world, the oldest form of carpet weaving in the world, and also make woolen blankets, bags, shawls and other Handicrafts.

Saga Dawa is one of such auspicious festivals, celebrated on which, people go to monasteries and offer butter lamps along with the prayers. The people of Sikkim also celebrate festivals like Losar festival, Bumchu Festival etc.

The food in Sikkim mainly comprises noodles, soups, thukpas, Momos, chang, sael roti etc. Rice is the staple food of the state .When it comes to non-vegetarian food, they prefer fish, beef, and pork. Steamed and boiled food items are mainly found here.
The people here grow crops like wheat, barley, buckwheat, potato etc.

Mask dance is one of the most famous dances of Sikkim the dances here also include Chi Rmu, Be Yu Mista, Kagyed Dance etc.

There are 6 traditional dresses of Sikkim belonging to different tribes for eg. The traditional dress for males is the Bakhu which is a loose cloak type garment with full sleeves. The females dress consists of a silken Honju which is a full sleeve blouse and a loose gown type garment.
