The current generation has always been blamed for being a generation too busy with the virtual world and with too little social interaction. However, it might be ironic to state that the need of the hour for all generations is 'social distancing'.
In the entire history of the world the most severe pandemic attack is the ongoing viral infection by the Corona virus. The fatality rate has reached far beyond countable quantities. The only way of controlling the infection is through 'social distancing'.
Social distancing enables to keep the virus under check. Covid 19 is a highly contagious virus. It spreads through direct contact of people. Any infected person touching another, or sneezing or spitting or coughing is liable to spread infection. Thus the only way to curtail its spread is to maintain a safe distance from each other.
Social distancing ensures the security of protection from infection. In public places especially markets if a good distance is maintained from our fellow beings then and only then can we protect ourselves from infection.
At home also it is advisable for the family members to maintain a distance from each other if possible. To occupy different rooms, to dine at alternate times, to watch television by sitting far from each other are ways and means of maintaining social distancing.
If the spread of the Corona virus is not checked there will be no world to live. As of now the whole world is suffering from the most fatal and dangerous infection and the only way to control this killer virus is to strictly adhere to social distancing.
