My mother and I went shopping last Saturday. We first visited a shoe shop as I needed a new pair for school. My mother bought a pair of low-heeled shoes for herself also.
Next, we entered a supermarket. Mother bought some foodstuff and provisions here. I helped her with the trolley. When mother had completed her list of grocery items, she went to the florist's to buy flowers. I preferred the bookshop, so we went in different ways. I bought a storybook and some birthday cards. By that time mother had selected her flowers. Together, we left the place. Feeling thirsty, we adjourned to a coffee-house nearby and ordered a cold lemonade each.
The emporium was our last stop. Here we added some T-shirts and shorts. By now, we were tired and heavily loaded. So we took a taxi home. I enjoy shopping with my mother on Saturday.
