The clock struck midnight as I hurried home and quickly tried to rush to my room. Unfortunately, my mother was waiting for me in the drawing room and as I was about to move to my room, she switched on the light.
I panicked but she did not utter a single word. I kept looking at her and suddenly she asked if I would eat anything. I nodded my head and went inside my room. I was hungry but too scared to utter a single word.
The clock struck 1 and I saw my mother come inside with a tray having all my favourite food. I was shocked at this gesture and became teary-eyed. She said that she has been waiting for me and did not have her food as well.
I hugged her tightly and promised never to do any such thing again. Then we had our dinner together and she went off to sleep. It was such a tiring day but nevertheless, a very special one as well as after years I got to taste such delicious dishes cooked by my mother.

I went to my friend house for combine study as the clock struck midnight I hurried home and I felt like it is going to be rain. On my way it started pouring. I was wet and cold and suddenly lightning and thundering started. I got scared and started running towards my home. Finally I got home with cold and wet cloths. My mother gave me a towel and told me to change my cloth. She was angry because she asked me to come home early but I didn’t listen to her. She made me a hot chocolate. After drinking my hot chocolate I went to sleep. Next morning I woke with fever. So I had to skip my school that day. From that day I have decided not stay long on my friend house for the study.
