With the conquest of major areas in the world by Muslim occupants, especially in northern Africa and Asia, the Muslim people were spread cross to these areas that were new conquests.

Initially the conquerors did not intend for the local people to convert their faith into Islam, as it would have diluted the benefits in society that the original Muslims enjoyed, but with the development of the Islamic doctrines in the subsequent centuries, it became customary to convert the faith of the localities.

The spread of Christianity was initially perpetuated by Paul, Christ’s apostle who travelled around 10,000 kilometers, spreading the word.

This he did within the Roman Empire that was spread across a huge territory from Europe to Asia.

So in a way the roman were remotely responsible for the spread of Christianity.

BY 323 AD, it had become the official religion of the Roman Empire and thus its spread was inevitable.
