Once upon-a-time. It was Summer days. The heat was so intense that the water in the jungle was slowly drying up. Wild animals and birds were wandering around.

Wherever one gets water he goes there. Because of the sun, the water was drying everywhere. It was no time to rain. Once there was a crow he was very thirsty.

Meanwhile, the thirsty crow was looking for water. He was flying in the jungle to drink water. But the water was not getting him anywhere.

He was tired of flying. After wandering here & there, he sat down on the tree trunk in the forest and rested.

Suddenly, his gaze fell on a clayey pot. And when he saw it, he was glad. The thirsty crow, he flew to the pot and saw that there was water in the pot. But the water in the pot was too low.

When he tried to drink water, his beak did not reach the water. Because the water in the pot was low. so he became disappointed.

The water was in front of him but he was unable to drink. He then flew off and sat on the tree trunk and wondered how the water could come out of the pot.

He noticed a few small pebbles lying near the pot. The Thirsty crow a tricks up the aisle. He thought that if the small pebbles were put in the pot, the water would come up. Then he flew again to pot.

He started putting pebbles into the water with his beak and the water slowly began to rise. He threw all the pebbles into the water and the water reached the top of the pot. Again he felt very happy.

The thirsty crow sat on the pot’s top, drank water, and flew away. Thus the crow quenched his thirst.
