Lord Alfred Tennyson once quoted - " The old order changeth yielding place for new". But I believe that the essence of peace has never changed in the truest term. Peace is costliest of any material things is what i believe. Making peace with our existence, our daily life, and self is the necessity of the day. Getting together to chieve this goal is a cumbersome process. People tend to only think about themselves, when it comes to mass goal, they take a step back. The world, our city, and our community are undergoing a rapid and accelerating change in terms of demographical, social, economical and political. This presents great opportunities and challenges too. However the growing diversity and even fragmentation of communities- local and global also poses dangers of potential conlict and alienation. 
To quote again by Zygmunt Bauman " can we learn the art of living with difference" To coexist with peace and achieve the respect and dignity is the major threat that we face today.
Therefore we need to think beyond our current thinking and take a progressive step towards cohesive living. To catalyze thoughts and inter-weave thoughts. To bring about harmony we need to change our mind set. Changing mindset, will lead to change in city, and change in city will lead to change in the world.
