It is celebrated with a new theme every year to encourage awareness of environment and environmental problems. The celebrations are held in many ways  like exhibitions, concerts, parades, competitions, campaigns etc. The main aim of World Environment day is to create awareness public about different environment issues and to protect our environment for better future. Many environmentalists, professors, scientists and politicians take active part in these celebrations and bring out new ideas to protect and save the environment. It is an initiative to make public aware of Eco friendly products and to create an clean and green, pollution free environment for coming future generations. And to encourage public to be an active members of environmental friendly development of our earth.
