Hiphop Tamizha Adhi is one among the Indian musical duo Hiphop Tamizha consisting of Adhithya "Adhi" Ramachandran Venkatapathy and Jeeva R. based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.

Hiphop Tamizha duo achieved wide recognition through the track "Club le Mabbu le"; a radio performance of the song received over two million views within a week of its release on YouTube in 2011.

Adhi's full name is Adhithya Ramachandran Venkatapathy and he was born on 20 February 1990. Adhi was born into a middle-class family with no knowledge in music or cinema; his father works at Bharathiar University while his mother comes from an agricultural background.

Adhi studied at Chavara Vidya Bhavan, and electrical engineering at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology. He holds a state-level rank in Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test and is a graduate in Master of Business Administration from the Department of Management Studies, University of Madras.

Anirudh Ravichander is an music composer and singer. He is the son of actor Ravi Raghavendra. His mother Lakshmi is a dancer. Anirudh was a part of a band in school called Zinx. At the age of 10, he started composing music.

He did his schooling at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan, one of the most prestigious educational institutions in Chennai. He graduated from Loyola College, Chennai in 2011, which according to him was just a back up in case his music career did not take off. Anirudh learnt classical piano from Trinity College of Music, London. He also learnt Carnatic music, and was part of a Carnatic fusion band.

He made his debut as a Music Director for the Tamil film, 3 directed by Aishwarya Dhanush. He has been inspired by the music of A. R. Rahman. He is the nephew of Latha Rajinikanth.

The promotion song, "Why This Kolaveri Di", that Anirudh had composed for the Tamil film 3, went viral on YouTube and had tracked more than 65 million views.
