Television is, today, an important part of every household. In many families, there are more than3-4 TV sets in each house. I am also a TV fan. I like al channels as each channel is putting up good programmes these days. The Star Plus is my favorite channel. I keep glued to this channel from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. and watch all the programmes being telecast. The social serials, the song and dance sequence and competitions, the laughter provoking items and a lot of other social and artistic programmes are just marvelous. Most of the social serials have attained so much popularity that every TV viewer knows each and every character very closely. It is so because the characters are realistic and life like. This channel is encouraging and motivating the entire young talent in the country and is providing a platform to al the budding artists without any discrimination of any type, without any fear, favor or bias. I am sure it is ushering in a cultural revolutions in the country.
