the first rain was the most heaviest rain all over. it ran for about 2 hours too heavily. many people who are very poor and stay in all those slam area , were very badly affected. they lost their shelter. they lost their living area. all the farmers were very happy because they thought if the rain has started so heavily, there crops would grow more beautifully.many people were flowed away with the rain. many people lost their family members. those young kiddies lost their mom, their dad. it was really a very miserable situation.

                                     The beauty of the first rain

Rain always brings a different joy, vibes, and sometimes inner peace to the lives of living beings. Be it animals, birds, humans, or any other living creature, everyone welcomes rain with happiness. According to some people, rain is the healthy showering by mother nature and it replaces all sorrows and pains with joy and happiness. Generally, the rainy season comes after the summer season but the first rain of the year happens during summer in West Bengal and along with rain comes to a local wind named 'Kal Baisakhi'.

When the first rain comes, it comes as a fruitful one and brings new hopes to the lives of living organisms. After the hot scorching summer in West Bengal, when the first rain comes, it brings a different satisfaction and relief. The flora and fauna feel like they have got a new life. The farmers are also very happy as their crops are getting a sufficient amount of water which is lacking before due to scarcity of water. People prefer to wet in the rain, as they find it a refreshing one. They can smell the soil when it starts raining and they find it very overwhelming.

At the end of the first rain, the weather becomes cool and favourable for the first time after the intense and hot summer where it is very difficult to spend each day, which the living organisms take as a 'blessing in disguise ' for them. Sometimes this first rain creates memories that are to be cherished in future. So the first rain will always be a memorable one for any living creature and they always expect this rain every year so that they can find something beautiful in life.
