hi friend,

i'm gonna tell you about illustrated n detailed account on the structure of an IGG { immunoglobulin G }  also the meaning of some words are given by me in brackets:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IGG are large molecules and are made of 4 peptide   (compound consisting of two or more amino acids) chains..
it contains two identical heavy chains of 50 kda. 150 kda is for all of it.
these two heavy chains are linked together with each other and to a light chain by desulphide bonds   (bonds which are found between  sulphur atoms which bind peptide chains)
the structure is divided in such a way that it forms a y-like shape.
each end of it consists of antigens  ( production of antibodies
)
the lower portion of IGG contains much of n-linked glycosylation ( it is a type of attachment in sugar molecule...) the N-glycans attached to this site are
core-fucosylated diantennary structures of complex type.
N-glycans also have GlcNAc and α-2,6-linked sialic acid residues.
