My dear Father,
Your letter gave me great happiness. Please improve your handwriting. Your letter was enclosed with papa’s. I was sorry to learn from his letter that you are not paying proper attention to your studies. You waste your time before the T.V. set. It is very bad. The examinations are close at hand. You should get through with good marks. You may, of course, enjoy some T.V. serial sometimes. This will refresh you for studies. But too much of it will be harmful. You will have no time and energy left for studies. This is the time to prepare for the struggle of life which is not a bed of roses, as you know. The T.V. will always be there but this opportunity will never return. It comes only once.
Do not be displeased and take it otherwise. Follow my advice so that the family, may be proud of you.
