Write an informal letter to your mother telling her about Covid
precautions taken by your hostel and school management.

Hello mom, how have you been? Hopefully good, as I am too. Today, I'm going to introduce you to the deadly virus and state my opinions. You've probably seen about it in the news; the virus is called coronavirus, covid-19 for short. Coronavirus is a deadly virus which first came through bat soup from China, and now spreads through sneezing, coughing etc. It is 2000× times smaller than a dot and shows it's symptoms (coughing, sneezing, headache etc.) after 4 days of arrival. The symptoms are so common, you won't even recognize it. It then, finally, kills you after 14 days. Really scary, isn't it? Well, there are ways to stay safe! First, you should maintain social distancing. Social distancing can decrease a lot of chances as the virus is in one's cough or sneeze. Second, wear a mask! Make sure to wear a mask, covering your mouth and nose properly. Wash your hands for straight 20 seconds, or sanitize your hands for 30 seconds, this helps in killing the virus! Last but not least, stay at home. Only YOU can protect yourself. It's not only for you, but your friends, family and everyone's safety. My hostel is taking it seriously, and so should everyone. Stay safe, thank you!

I wrote everything about the virus, and how you should explain about it to your mom. Also about your hostel in fewer words, hope this helped! ^^

Dear mom
I hope my letter finds you in good health. You will be glad to know that our school has reopened. I want to share about this new phase with you.
We have received a notice that we should be attending the physical mode of school from online mode. After a lot of changes it felt like as if I am back with the usual routine. As the pandemic is still continuing to be there, our management has decided to take the best safety of us along with the staff in our school. We are strictly restricted from removing our masks except in while we are having food. At first it was kind of difficult to move on with the new way like social distancing, sanitising our hand and etc. now not only me but everyone has started to follow all the rules. Not only the physical mode but online is also available in our school. But only if we are not feeling well.
So mom.. this is all about my new routine and getting back to normal. Take care of yourself and do not worry about me.
Yours affectionately
