Answer:

SLOW AND STEADY WINS THE RACE

ONCE UPON A TIME A HARE AND TORTOISE LIVED IN A JUNGLE. THEY WERE VERY FAST FRIENDS BUT THE HARE ALWAYS ASKED TO TORTOISE, YOU ARE VERY SLOW AND YOU CAN NOT WIN ME IN RACE BUT ONE DAY TORTOISE ACCEPT THE HARE CHALLENGE. THEY DECIDE FINAL PLACE TO REACH.

RACE STARTED, HARE WAS VERY PROUD OF HIS FAST SPEED AND HE RAN VERY FAST AND COVER THE LONG DISTANCE IN NO TIME AND SEE THE TORTOISE.

TORTOISE WAS FAR BEHIND.

HARE THOUGHT, WHY NOT SLEEP SOME TIME BECAUSE TORTOISE IS VERY SLOW HE WILL TAKE LONG TIME TO REACH THE FINAL PLACE. HARE SLEEP NEAR THE TREE. BUT TORTOISE CARRIED ON HIS RUNNING AND HE PASSED AWAY THE HARE IN SLEEP NEAR THE TREE AND REACHED THE FINAL PLACE. WHEN HARE WOKE-UP, HE RUN VERY FAST TO REACH THE FINAL PLACE BUT HE LOOSED THE RACE. TORTOISE HAD WON THE RACE DUE TO CONTINUOUS STRUGGLE.

There are numerous examples in our life for justifying the proverb 'slow and steady wins the race.' This proverb means that those who are consistent in their approach can be very successful at the latest.

  • STORY:

Two cyclists went on a hilly race. One of them will start sprinting and climb the first hill as soon as possible. Other cyclists start at a steady pace and watch other racers disappear at the top of the first hill. Slow cyclists continue to stop for coffee and cake to regain power and depart again with fresh bottled water from the cafe.

Not long after, he happily pedaled the last hill, seeing a cyclist coughing and sweaty debris lying beside the road a few meters from the finish. "What's wrong?" Ask the slow cyclist. Out of breath, the faster cyclist explains how he was exhausted and started too fast. His water bottle is empty, his thirsty and unable to swallow, and his hunger makes his stomach growl.

A slow-moving cyclist handed bottled water from a jersey and a slice of cake that he had saved later to a sweaty mob by the side of the road, and slowly, his air-filled lungs boarded the finish line.
