This is a real story, which happened in my life, but this experience was of my friend,who had rescued me.
This was a evening which was so hard to believe, sad to expect.
One day, I and my friend Vaishnave, were going to some place cycling.
We were going great. The conversation build up as we moved forward.My friend is so intelligent and caring towards me.
Suddenly,she asked me a intelligent question that "Consider a boy, girl are friends, if something danger happens to both of them, that one has to challenge with life to save the other. Will they keep their life in danger, for saving the other. "
I thought she was asking generally, so I replied "Yes" with a sense of doubt in my mind. She told, we are friends, if something happens to you, if I have to give up my life. I will guarantely take up the situation.
We were happy and moved further. As we finished our trip that day.We two went to our respective houses. As Daily, after school, we again took our bicycles, started our ride with great enthusiasm.
We went into a highway. The rest is sad and danger. A car driver who was driving after consuming Alcohol, was about to hit me.I was so scared and nervous, about my situation there. My friend Vaishnave has taken the challenge and pushed me aside,kept her self in danger. She risked her life for my sake. Accident was to happen, and it happened, but not to me, but to her.
I fell from my bicycle and got minor injuries on knees and elbows.But what happened to vaishnave was something serious. The car went on to hit her, leaving blood in her head.Luckily, God saved her, I fell unconscious,And when the time I woke up, I was in hospital. I noticed vaishnave in the bed beside me. I got to near her and asked that why you risked yourselves for me. She told this is true friendship. I was not abler to understand anything that time. I kept crying for an hour. After I was fully conscious, I saw vaishnave with a bandage to her head.
By God's grace she recoved fast. Now too when I think about her,I remember this incident. This is the true friendship that has to be with friends.
