The place was flooded in the middle of the night, the water was rising fast and we had to leave. That year's flood was horrible we waited at the top of a house for hours, but no help came and after a day or two we started feeling weak. But then we found a copter doing an aireal survey of how the conditions were and it spotted us soon enough. We were there greeted by the home minister and he told us everything about how we all ended up trapped in a cyclone and no pilot was able rescue us till the storm calmed. I still remember it as it happened yesterday only.
