Once upon a time, a woodcutter lived in a village close to a forest. He was hard working and honest. Every morning, he would get up at the break of dawn, take his axe and go to the forest. He would cut wood and sell it in the nearby market. With the money he earned, he looked after his family. He led a contented life.

He always took care to cut a few branches from a tree, leaving the tree unharmed. Once a month, he would plant a few saplings which would grow into trees over the years.

One day, he took his axe and set off for work. He climbed a tree to chop some branches. His axe accidentally slipped from his hand and fell into the pond below.

He dove into the pond to look for his axe under the water. No matter how hard he tried, he could not find it. He sat under a tree feeling helpless. He was sad that he had lost the axe, which was his companion. He also wondered how he was going to earn a living now. He had no money to buy a new axe.

hope it helps you friend

We occasionally receive extraordinary items that we have wished for a long time. It brings us happiness, but that enjoyment vanishes when we lose those things and then reclaim them. We understand its true worth. We don't want to ever lose it.

  • I was in fifth grade at the time. My 11th birthday had arrived, and I was overjoyed. My parents gave me a new bicycle as a present. I was very pleased with myself. I was on it the entire day, going from place to place. It had been shown to all of my pals. They were also stealing and riding my bicycle.
  • I went to a park near my city once. In the park, I had a great deal of fun. I had neglected to bring my bicycle because I was having so much fun.
  • When I arrived at my house, I went for a walk with my buddies. I discovered I'd forgotten my bike in the park. It had been a long night. I was taken aback and contemplated whether or not to inform my parents.
  • I came to the conclusion that if I told him, he would scold me for the rest of the night, and we weren't going to find a bicycle that late.
  • I couldn't figure out how he knew the bicycle wasn't in the garage. He became enraged and demanded to know where my bicycle was. There was nothing I could do.
  • I informed him that I had abandoned my bicycle at the park. My father's rage was uncontrollable after hearing that punishment. He began berating me throughout the night. Anyway, I slept at night and went to find my bicycle the next morning.
  • To begin, I went to my friends' house and inquired if they had taken my bicycle from the park. They refuted the claim. I became dissatisfied. The bicycle, they said, will be in the park. They accompanied me to the park in order to assist me. My bicycle was nowhere to be found.
  • I was afraid that my bicycle would be stolen. But, I reasoned, let's give it one more shot. I inquired of the park's guard if he had seen any red bicycles. He stated that he had demonstrated. One bicycle was left the day before. They'd kept it in a secure location.
  • I was overjoyed and went for a ride on my bicycle. I returned home after thanking the guard. Now, before leaving my bicycle anyplace, I pondered a thousand times. I realized the true worth of my bicycle.
