- There is an incident from my childhood that keeps haunting me. 

- I have nightmares about it even now. 
- I was 14 years old and had come back home after tutorial classes.
- I was home alone and was studying. 
- I thought I heard some noises coming from upstairs. I went and checked and found nothing. 
- An hour or so later the phone rang. A mysterious voice on the other side said, "go to sleep"
- I asked who it was but the person cut the call. 
- After eating my dinner and studying, I went to bed.
- I slept very well, though I thought I could smell something burning and heard noises whilst dreaming. 
- The next day, I woke up to a near empty house. I had been robbed. 
- I called my parents and the police. 
- From their investigation they said the robber had been hiding in my room, right in front of me, in my cupboard for several hours. 
- He had burnt something to put me to sleep.
- I don't think I'll ever be able to sleep alone again.
