Leonard was a poor factory worker who barely earned enough for self-sustainment. he had to work like a bull for a whole day to earn no more than pennies everyday. one day his father died and left him a huge sum of money. this unexpected wealth made him crazy. he stopped working and started wasting the money. soon he became a fat man who had had too much to eat on too many occasions. his wealth and health started dwindling and soon his money was over. by this time Leonard was so unhealthy that he was left on the streets to die. this shows how money can be good, but too much money can be harmful.
