Answer:
Car Across The Road
It was raining hard that night. In my hurry to get into the house I didn't notice the black car parked across the road; I realized something was wrong when before going to bed after dinner I found the car on the same spot. The warning bells in my mind began to ring. It was still raining, so I took my umbrella and walked up to the car.
The window mirrors were hazy with vapors lined on them form inside. However, I could hear a baby crying inside. I tried to open the doors, but they were locked from within. I immediately called the police helpline. Within a few minutes the police arrived. They broke open one of the window panes. To our shock, we find a two-year old baby crying badly. He was terribly frightened. His mother lay unconscious on the driver seat!
The police called for an ambulance. The ambulance too reached within a few moments; the paramedics gave the lady first aid,and she was rushed to the nearby hospital.
The family of the lady was contacted. The father of the baby arrived in panic. He told the police and the doctors that his wife was an epileptic; she might have fell unconscious after the fit. He thanked me for having acted promptly which saved two lives. I was awarded a special award from the Governor of the city for being a watchful and responsible citizen.
Above all I felt so good for being instrumental in saving two precious lives!
