It was 22nd March 2020 when I woke up like a languid zombie with half closing

eyes, and worrying about my upcoming exam. I stretched myself and went to

brush my teeth. My father who's already awake switched on the TV for the

morning news. I heard the news reader saying that there's a 'Janatha Curfew '

announced by our Prime minister Narendra Modi. It's a 24 hour complete lock

down and the country's largest ever self imposed curfew in an effort to

fight the spread of COVID - 19 . Prime Minister Narendra Modi sought to calm

nerves and urged Indians to remain indoors as much as possible as he

addressed the nation on how it could battle the coronavirus pandemic . He

added that the day would act as symbol of “our self-control” and the

experience will prepare the country for coming challenges . It is a well took
