THE SOUL
Once me and my friend went for a vacation in which we saw Meneka aunty our neighbour when we lived in Bombay 18 years ago. Unfortunately her only son was lost in an accident with a car. She was utterly feeling frustrated when she met him my friend as he resembled Meneka aunty's son. She asked where I was working then and also added where I found my friend. I answered that I was working in Patiala and further said that I found him in my hospital as a single patient being always sad. She asked me if she can adopt him but I refused as he was going down with a severe recovery treatment from comma. She again become sad and we went away. After some couple of months my friend was fully recovered and produced his name that was Prathmesh. This made me taken aback as it was the name of Meneka aunty's son.When we further asked about his parents he produced the name Meneka and said that he never seen his father. I fastly called Meneka aunty and told that his son had not diedand also that my friend was his son. To her great pleasure she was spellbound. We decided to give a surprise to aunty. We went to met her and knocked the door she opened and touched my friend motherly. After that she asked me to stay there for a week and I agreed to. The next two days she went everywhere. But at the weekend morning she gave a big surprise to us that was her death. I never saw that type of moment in my whole life and the surprise was that the postmarten report said that she died two days before the weekend. And here heavenly soul lived with us the two days.
