It was raining torrents when I came out of the hotel. I looked at my watch and it was about 11:30. Even though it was midnight but everyone was either out or on their room balconies taking in the mesmerizing view of rain in Shimla. I could not take hold of myself and walk straight out in the rain. It was cold and I started shivering. When the rain stopped I could feel myself catching a fever. I started sneezing and coughing but it was worth it. I will forever remember this night.
