Answer:

One of the most common reasons for tree plantation is forestry. Forests are rapidly decreasing from the surface of the earth because humans are felling trees for commercial purposes. Despite the fact that forests grow naturally there is a need to regrow them at a greater rate than the rate at which they are destructed. Apart from improving the bio-diversity, trees also add to the natural beauty of a place.

Trees planted along the roads and in the parks add to the scenic beauty of the place. A tree will be there for generations benefitting each one in its own way. If you plant a tree today then your coming generations will be benefitted by it. Tree plantation is the best future investment to make for your children.

Several NGOs (Non-Government Organizations) and people are volunteering for tree plantation today. It is after all the fastest way to make the planet greener. Tree plantation is a gesture that will make the planet a better place to live for the coming generations. We should not only be engaged in tree plantation but also encourage others also for planting trees whenever and wherever the time and resources permit them.

Governments should also come forward to support tree plantation. Non-government agencies and local groups might feel financial shortages and here the government could prove to be of help. Besides, the government has a pool of resources and funds to carry out large scale plantation activities with the help of NGOs and other interested parties.
