2. Once upon a time, there was a merchant whose son was very obedient and sincere. As ill luck could have it, he fell into bad company. his behaviour was badly affected and he slowly became disobedient and naughty. One day, his father decided to  teach him a lesson. He went to the market and bought some ripe apples. He deliberately put a rotten apple into the basket with the ripe apples. When he brought the apples home, his son pointed out the rotten apple. The merchant did not do anything about it. He placed the apples together in a basket. the next morning, his son found that all of the apples were rotten. The merchant said,"You were like the ripe apples I bought yesterday, but you fell into company with bad boys, who are like the rotten apple. You also slowly turned bad, just like the ripe apples. The merchant's words touched his son's heart, and he broke friendship with the bad boys.
