I was alone at home my parents had gone to New Delhi it was late at night suddenly the phone Rang and i lifted the call.
There was no one speaking from the other side.Frightened I kept the phone and tried calling my parents.
There was a busy tone I tried calling my elder sister who was with then.
She said that their parents were trying to call them and the landline was on busy mode.

His mobile phone rang loudly. He was tensed that who was calling me at midnight 12. But he thought it might be some emergency call. He picked up the phone. The person on the opposite side of the call was familiar to me. He said her hello and started the conversation but realized soon that it was indeed an emergency call. He heard what the other person over the phone said and turned pale. He was horror stricken. He was continuously sweating and I was not able to move even a single part of my whole body.
He sat down on the sofa and tried to analyze what had happened.
He was alone in my house since my parents were out for a wedding party. Three hours back he had called his best friend to come in my house. He always used to spend some quality time with my friend when he was alone.Raul and his friend’s house is usually a 5 minutes way. But today, his friend took one hour to reach Raul's house. Raul asked him several times why he was late but he did not reply. He remember that he used teased him being laziest parson in this world. But yet soon Raul forgot about it and till now he have spent some two hours with him and now it was 12 midnight.
Raul and his friend were having a walk in our terrace and having some gossips. It was then that the phone rang suddenly. His friend said casually to promise him that he will come back to him as soon as possible. Raul did not took this promise seriously and thought he was just saying this because he was afraid to be alone in the terrace during such a calm night. Raul hurried and picked up the phone. It was his friend’s mother. She informed raul that his best friend had died two hours ago due to an accident.
Now he was seated in his sofa trying to decide that whether to go upstairs or to the hospital to complete the last promise which he gave to his friend.
Raul was shocked and very sad. Tears rolled down on raul's face and he was continuously perspiring thinking that he had spent two hours with a friend who was dead.
