Answer:
The Milkmaid And Her Pot Of Milk
A Maid was carrying her pail of milk to the farm-house, when she fell a-musing. "The money for which this milk will be sold will buy at least three hundred eggs. The eggs, allowing for all mishaps, will produce two hundred and fifty chickens. The chickens will become ready for market when poultry will fetch the highest price; so that by the end of the year I shall have money enough to buy a new gown. In this dress I will go to the Christmas junketings, when all the young fellows will propose to me, but I will toss my head, and refuse them every one." At this moment she tossed her head in unison with her thoughts, when down fell the Milk-pot to the ground, and broke into a hundred pieces, and all her fine schemes perished in a moment.

Explanation:
Once there was a milkmaid who was easily distracted from her work. She was walking towards the market one fine morning, with a pot of fresh milk on her head to sell in the market. She began to weave her daydreaming tales on the way.
She decided that she will buy some eggs with the money she will get from selling the milk. Then, with the eggs, she will make them hatch and then rear chicken until they become hens and cocks. And then, when they finally grow big, they will produce more and more eggs, which she will sell and some she will keep to hatch and grow her chicken farm. with the farm growing immensely, she will get lots of money from selling the eggs and sometimes the chicken. And with that money, she will buy jewelry and fine clothes, and improve her living condition and prove to everyone that she is not destined to be a milkmaid all her life.
But she slipped on the side of the road and spilled all of the fresh milk she was dreaming of to sell. She could do nothing except regret that she had daydreamed and not paid attention to the way. Now, all of her dreams and hopes of attaining riches and living in comfort, dressing beautifully and looking charming are all dashed and gone with the milk, which is now eagerly sucked by the dry ground.
