Hai guys,

there are totally three types of motions equations , they are ,

.v = u + at

.v^2=u^2+2 as

.s=ut +1/2 as at ^2

1) .v=u+at (derivation )

acceleration =change in velocity /time taken.

therefore, acceleration =(find velocity -initial velocity )/time taken.

hence , a=v-u/+or at =v-u

therefore, we have :v=u+at

2) .v^2=u^2+2 as (derivation )

distance (s)=((v+u)/2)×((v-u)/a)

s=(v^2-u^2)/2 as

2as=v^2-u^2

v^2=u^2+2 as

3).s=ut+1/2 at^2

distance =average velocity ×time;also ,

average velocity =(u+v)/2

therefore, distance (s)=(u+v)/2×t

from v=u at we have

s=(u +va +at)/2×t=(2u+at)/2×t

s=(2ut +at^2)/2=2ut/2+a^2/2

s=ut+1/2at^2.
