Difference between plane ,concave and convex mirrors

Spherical mirrors can be convex or concave, depending on which side you put the mirrored surface on.

Plane mirrors produce virtual, upright images that are the same size as the object. Virtual, by the way, just means the image is formed behind the mirror instead of in front of it.

plane mirror have plane surface and image distance = object distance , forms same size of object, magnification is always +1

concave mirror is hollow surface as reflecting surface and forms many different types of images

convex mirror is bulged surface as reflecting surface and forms virtual, diminished and inverted image always and magnification is less than 1
