I am a good player. So I participate in all types of field games. Every boy or girl has a special interest in a particular sport.
Some people like the game of hockey, others like football and others consider cricket as the best game. When I was in junior high school, I used to play Kabaddi and Gilli-danda a lot. But since coming to senior secondary school, I now like playing volleyball the most.
Specialities of various sports:
Generally, the plain sports can be divided into two categories. In one category the games of Western countries can be kept, while in another category Indian sports can be placed. Games in Western countries are very expensive. Ordinary people are not able to afford the expenses of western sports like polo or cricket. This game is only for the rich. Sports like tennis and badminton are expensive, but not as many.
But sports do not take much hard work, so the body is not able to exercise properly. Therefore, hardworking and agile students do not like them much. cricket also does not take much hard work and does not take time. Indian sports, by contrast, do not have clear and definite rules.
Hence, in these games, often huge controversies and quarrels arise. Good students do not like these games because they do not require special skills.
My favourite sports volleyball:
My favourite sport is volleyball. I do play this game whenever I get a chance. There are many reasons for my preference. The first reason is that it is a very expensive sport. It requires only one hair, two bass and a net. I belong to a middle-class family.
So I cannot spend much money on sports. My father does not have so much income that he can arrange for me other sports equipment. Another reason for this preference is that the sport does not require a wide field of play like hockey, football or cricket.
We can play it only on small square land. The third reason for my choice is that my health is normal. Games like hockey and football require great power and strength. Running in a long field, we get tired in a short time.
