The advantages of India are:
1) Ancient Indians made many discoveries in the field of Mathematics such as,
a) Aryabhatta's discovery of zero '0' .
b) The Shridharacharya method of trigonometry and many more.
2) These ancient Indians also made discoveries in the medical field. Various surgeries such as Cataract surgery and plastic surgery were first done and discovered in India.
3) Indians also helped in the development of technology all over the world.
Such a man was Jagdish Chandra Bose who made Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) possible. [ But it was presented to the world by a British Scientist]
The disadvantages of India are:
1) India has a very poor infrastructure which proves to be a great barrier in India's development.
2) In India, the literacy rate is low which effects it's economic conditions.
3) Till the date, many evil practices like sati and female infanticide prevail in many parts of India.
