a) Improper fraction into mixed fraction

b) Mixed fraction into improper fraction​

1st Question:

5/10 x 3 = 15/30

4/12 x 2 = 8/24

7/10 x 3 = 21/30

2nd Question:

a) Formula - Numerator ÷ Denominator = Quotient - Whole Number of Mixed Fraction, Remainder - Numerator of Mixed Fraction, Original Denominator - Denominator of Mixed Fraction

Eg. 1 - 24/7

24 ÷ 7 = Quotient - 3    Remainder - 3

Mixed Fraction = 3  3/7

2 - 65/10

65 ÷ 10 = Quotient - 6   Remainder - 5

Mixed Fraction = 6 5/10

b) Formula - (Whole Number x Denominator) + Numerator =

Sum - Numerator of Improper Fraction, Original Denominator - Denominator of Improper Fraction

Eg. 1 - 3 4/7

(3 x 7) + 4

= 21 + 4 = 25

Improper Fraction = 25/7

2 - 7 5/7

(7x7) + 5

= 49 + 5 = 54

Improper Fraction - 54/7
