Evergreen forests are also known as a Rain forest and grow in the area receiving more than 200 cm of rainfall annually. These forests are so dense that sunlight does not reach the ground. Deciduous forests are also known as Monsoon forests and grow in the area receiving 200 - 70 cm of rainfall annually.
