Literary Devices are used to bring uniqueness and depth to the text. They also allow multiple interpretations of text.

Types of Literary Devices:

1. Alliteration- is the repetition of consonant sound in the same line. Such as sound of 'f' in the line 'I hold those who favor fire.'
2. Imagery- is used to make readers perceive things involving their five senses.
3. Assonance-is the repetition of vowel sounds in the same line.
4. Symbolism- is the use of symbols to signify ideas and qualities, by giving them symbolic meaning different from their literal meaning.
5. Anaphora- Refers to repetition of a word or expression in the first part of some verses.
