Five monuments are:

1) Taj Mahal- Taj Mahal, one of the historical monuments of India is located in the city Agra. Taj Mahal is an abode of love, eternal love. Taj Mahal is counted in the Seven Wonders of the World and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan has constructed this beautiful monument on his beloved lady, Mumtaj after her demise. He chose a serene location on the outskirts of the city, at the southern edge of Agra. Taj Mahal is built on the banks of river Yamuna. Choice of location is brilliance and carries the strategic importance. While the location is blissfully scenic, it is visible from the Agra Fort Palace.

Taj Mahal complex comprises of several buildings, which includes a mosque, a mausoleum and a guesthouse. The mausoleum houses the tombs of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz. The architectural design incorporates the traditional designs of ancient Mughal and Persian styles. The exterior designs truly represent the grandeur of finest Mughal architecture. The mausoleum is built of pure white marbles. The waterways divide the gardens, which divides Taj Mahal into four parts and meet at a center pool.

2) Qutub Minar- Qutub Minar was built by Qutub-ud-din Aibak, the first Muslim ruler of Delhi, commenced the construction of the Qutub Minar in 1200 AD, but could only finish the basement. His successor, Iltutmush, added three more storeys, and in 1368, Firoz Shah Tughlak constructed the fifth and last storey.

Qutub Minar, at 120 meters, is the tallest brick minaret in the world, and the second tallest minar in India after Fateh Burj at Mohali.

3) Hawa Mahal- The great monuments of the royal Rajputs of Rajasthan, Hawa Mahal also Palace of Winds is situated in the heart of pink cityand the capital of Rajasthan,Jaipur. The pyramid shape five-story palace is constructed by red and pink sandstone by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh for women’s of royal families. Hawa Mahal is one of the major tourist attraction of Jaipur well as in the royal state Rajasthan.

4) Red Fort- The Red Fort is the historic fort in Old Delhi which was built by fifth Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in the 17th century. Today, it is at the ramparts of the Red fort that the Indian Prime Minister hoists the national tricolour (Tiranga) and delivers a nationally-broadcast speech.
The fort was constructed between 1638 and 1648. The fort occupies a total area of about 254.67 acres with a few kilometers of defence walls. The fort is so named because of the Red Sandstone used for its walls and is dotted by turrets and bastions. The Red Fort is shaped like an octagon with the north-south axis longer than the east-west axis. The Fort is fully decorated with marble, floral decorations, double domes which remembers the Mughal architecture. 
The fort was plundered during the 1747 invasion by Nadir Shah and a century later in 1857 the fort was further destroyed during India’s first war of Independence by the British colonisers. The Red fort complex is today designated as a Unesco world heritage site. 

5) India Gate- The 'India Gate' is the national monument of India. It is in New Delhi, India. Gate was designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens. It was built in 1931. The 42-metre tall India Gate is situated in such a way that many important roads spread out from it.

It is built of Red Sandstone and Granite. Originally known as the All India War Memorial, it is a prominent landmark in Delhi and commemorates the 90,000 soldiers of the Indian Army who lost their lives while fighting for the Indian Empire, or more correctly the British Raj in World War I and the Third Anglo-Afghan War.
