A system of gun and bullet. Before firing the gun, both the gun and the bullet are at rest, so the total momentum of the system is zero.... According to the law of conservation of momentum, the total momentum of the gun and the bullet will be zero after the gun is fired.

Hope it's helps you

Answer:

The principle of conservation of momentum states that if two objects collide, then the total momentum before and after the collision will be the same if no external force acts on the colliding objects..

1. Rocket launch: When a rocket is launched, burning fuel is ejected from the lower end of the rocket, causing the rocket engine to move in the opposite direction to the ejected fuel. The mass of the rocket continues to decrease as the fuel burns, causing the rocket's momentum to increase. The total momentum of the system, including the rocket and fuel, remains the same as before the rocket bounced off.

2. Gun Recoil: When a bullet is fired, the gun experiences a recoil force.  The combined recoil momentum of the weapon and projectile is still zero.

3. Air-filled balloons

In an air-filled balloon, the balloon and the air inside form a kind of system.  As soon as the balloon is released, the air escapes at high speed to the outside, the balloon moves forward in the opposite direction to the outward flow of air.

4. When a person jumps from a boat onto a rock, no other external force acts on the boat-person system in the process. therefore momentum is conserved here. it's an app.
